Transmission by Lea K. Tawd Mixed Media

She goes deep into her transformation: her growing wings begin to show, she is crowned by a crescent moon, and she receives a transmission from above.  

"Transmission" is an original mixed media painting. I used acrylic paint, collage, ink, gold and silver colored metal leaf, and pencil on a cradled wood panel. The media are layered so as to be archival and coated with a protective varnish. It is ready to hang as is or framed if you desire. It measures 16 x 20."  It is signed on the back as are all of my paintings.

This painting is infused with Reiki, a healing energy.  I use this energy to guide me while I work and to infuse all of my canvases, wood panels, and other supplies.
